Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Grant

Social Media Graphic new.png

The UC is continuing the Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Grant of $2,600 to support cultural affinity organizations that are interested in starting or strengthening their internal peer-to-peer mentorship programs. We recognize that these programs foster involvement, interaction, and inclusion within cultural affinity organizations.

To qualify for the grant, organizations should be looking to start or make more effective a "big sibling-little sibling" program. Selected organizations will be allocated funding based on the expected number of members in the mentorship program. Funding is to be spent for 1-on-1 gatherings for socially-distanced meetings, food delivery, or shipping costs for care packages. The UC will conduct a weighted lottery based on organizations' financial need to allocate funding to a combination of large and small organizations. Applications are due August 17, 2020.
