The Executive Board

What do we do?

The Executive Board is the central leadership organization within the Council. The Board consists of the President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Parliamentarian, the Head of Communications, the Caucus Director and the Chair of each of the committees. The Executive Board reviews agendas developed by the Secretary prior to General Meetings and also functions in conducting attendance reviews. Attendance reviews are conducted after a member of the Council accumulates three unexcused absences. The Executive Board performs a review of all standing unexcused absences. If any unexcused absences are found to be permissible by the Board, said absences are voted off of the Council member’s record. If absences are found to be unexcused, the Board may move to limit voting privileges until a sufficient attendance record is maintained.
